Dharmakaya presents a special weekend in Miami, with Saturday's teaching on Taming the Drunken Elephant, and Sunday's Teaching and Guided Meditation.
Meditation is a very special and indispensable tool for one's well being. In the Buddhist tradition, meditation is an essential tool for developing the highest wisdom and compassion leading to the ultimate enlightenment or spiritual awareness.
During this weekend, Rinpoche will teach us about meditation based on early texts to outline its benefits in our daily lives. Rinpoche's particular skill is to teach the Buddhist tradition in a way relevant to our daily lives.
---------------------
Like a Drunken Elephant, our mind is agitated and needs to be calmed. Today, Rinpoche will teach us how meditation can quiet our mind and how it is an indispensable tool for one's well-being. Learn how Buddhist meditation can help us attain enlightenment, the highest state of spiritual awakening, as well as liberation and compassionate wisdom.
---------------------
Following today's teaching, Rinpoche will give instructions in a guided meditation session tomorrow - Sunday, Feb. 22.
