Venerable Khenchen Rinpoche will grant the permissory Vajrasattva Empowerment/Initiation. Vajrasattva (Dorje Sempa in Tibetan) is the Buddha of Purification. It is said that there is no impurity, defilement or negative karma that cannot be purified through the practice of Vajrasattva.

All students are required to practice vegetarianism on the empowerment day, and are strongly recommended to attend the following Vajrasattva Teaching on January 10.
