The primary goal of the Mahamudra Hermitage is to offer a place of quiet where serious practitioners can accomplish the traditional Buddhist retreat of three years, three months and three days. In addition, a retreat center for short-term retreats and a center for daily Buddhist activities will accommodate students with various time constraints and abilities as well as visitors.
